Gibraltar – The Government has made special arrangements, for the Gibraltar Bus Company to provide a service that will convey passengers to the beaches to include Catalan Bay Beach, Eastern Beach and Western Beach from Market Place, as an extension to their route.

As from the Saturday 19th of June when the school half days start, there will be a regular daily bus service starting from Market Place to the bus stop in Catalan Bay by Williams Way tunnel exit, then to the bus stop at Eastern Beach by the Aerial Farm and from there to the bus stop outside the bus depot at Winston Churchill Avenue servicing Western Beach.
This service will be free of charge and will operate for the duration of the official bathing season, which ends on 12th September 2010.

From Saturday 19th June to Friday 9th July the service will run from 1.00 pm to 9.00 pm daily and from Saturday 10th July onwards the service will run from 10.00 am to 9.00pm daily. Buses will depart from Market Place on the hour and thereafter at half hourly intervals.

However, exceptionally, and before the regular service commences, the Gibraltar Bus Company will operate the beach routes over this coming Bank Holiday weekend, from Saturday the 12th to Monday 14th June.
