A Different Kind of Flying at Tempelhof. Freestyle Event at the Former Tempelhof Airport.
From October 9 to 11, 2009, it will once again be possible to take to the skies from Tempelhof Airport. This time, though, it will be within the framework of freestyle.berlin, the first edition of the huge international freestyle sporting event to be held in Germany. The world’s best snowboarders, skateboarders, free skiers, and FMX riders will execute their daredevil leaps and jumps in midair, competing for prizes. And the gathering would not be complete without the world’s highest free-standing snow ramp and accompanying concerts.
