AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), recently hosted and co- sponsored the annual Air Carriers Purchasing Conference (ACPC) in Orlando.
ORLANDO, Fla. — During the four day meeting, airline suppliers and representatives met to discuss the issues facing the airline industry and to network with the nearly 1000 vendors and 87 airlines that were present. Through the generosity of ACPC members, AirTran Airways partnered with the organization to raise over $50,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central & Northern Florida at the conference.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation’s mission is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. A network of over 25,000 volunteers serve as wish granters, fundraisers and in any other capacity to ensure that children’s hopes and dreams come true.
