The company will operate two flights a week from Madrid. In addition, starting on June 1st, it will boost the number of flights to Moscow from 7 to 12 per week

Iberia has added the Russian city of St. Petersburg to its list of destinations this summer. The service will begin on June 2nd, which is also the day Iberia will start it flights to Washington, DC.

The company will operate two direct return flights each week between Madrid and the old Russian imperial city, using 141-seat Airbus A-319s, with a Business Class section.

Flights for St. Petersburg will take off from Madrid on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 22:50 h. and will reach the Pulkovo airport at 05:20 h. the following morning. Return flights will take off on Wednesdays and Mondays at 06:10 h., and land in Madrid at 08:55 h.

More Frequencies to Moscow

Iberia is focusing strongly on Russia, and on June 1st it will add five new flights each week to Moscow, where it now flies once a day. Passengers will benefit from improved connections with other Iberia domestic and international destinations. The new timetable will be as follows:

Other New Destinations

St. Petersburg is not Iberia’s only new destination this summer, On May 6th the Spanish airline will launch direct flights to Boston (5 per week), and on June 2nd it will start flying to Washington, DC (also 5 per week).

In January, Iberia launched a new service to Algiers, and in March, it began flying to Bucharest, operating three flights a week to the two capital cities.
